Attention Santa Clara County community sort volunteers: We've arrived at Cypress Center!
New location information for Santa Clara County volunteers
Food sorting officially began in April at our new state-of-the art volunteer hub, Cypress Center, located at 4001 North First Street, San Jose. Although Curtner Center is still an integral part of Second Harvest Food Bank's operations, we are excited to welcome volunteers to a new facility that was built with you in mind! By packing and sorting produce and dry goods at this new 12,000 square foot facility, you can help us to achieve our mission of providing food for all the people in need in our community.
We couldn't feed our hungry neighbors without your continuing support, and we look forward to welcoming you to our new location, one that has been created with you, our volunteers, in mind.

Group and Individual Food Sorting Opportunities
Opportunities are scheduled in two to three hour shifts Monday through Friday. Shifts begin at 9:00/9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Group and individual food sorting opportunities are available on select Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. (See schedule below for days, dates and times of sorts.)
Please feel free to inquire about the availability of other dates and times that would be more convenient for your group. Please review our requirements.
Space is limited!
Advance registration is required for all food sorts.
