Volunteer at an organization that helps the hungry
Participate in activities such as food sorts or repackaging, distributing food at a pantry, delivering food to a homebound senior or serving food at a local shelter or soup kitchen.

Become a hunger advocate
Frequently, legislative issues about hunger need your voice. If you are interested in learning about current issues and would like to help by calling, writing, or emailing your local legislators, let us know by sending an email to advocacy@shfb.org. We will send you occasional email notices about advocacy opportunities.
