Barrels
The Food Bank delivers and picks up your food collection barrels at no cost to you! Each barrel holds approximately 150 pounds of food (1 can weighs about 1 pound) so we suggest you take your food poundage goal and divide it by 150 to determine the number of barrels you will need.
If you are holding a team competition, please clearly label each barrel with the appropriate team name on an attached 8.5 x 11 piece of paper to ensure barrels are weighed separately.

Distribute these cards to offer participants easy instructions on all of the ways they can contribute. Promo cards include ways to donate and our most needed foods.

Full color posters measure 18" x 24." Order enough to feature in high-traffic areas at your organization and remind participants of your partnership with Second Harvest.
Biodegradable Plastic Bags
These standard grocery-sized bags with handles list our most needed foods. Distribute to participants to boost your poundage totals.
In order to reduce our impact on the environment, this bag is biodegradable, meaning it breaks down completely when in contact with other decomposing materials, whether in compost bins, landfills, or just buried in the ground. These bags can also be recycled along with regular plastic bags.
