As an employee, you will earn competitive wages and have an excellent selection of benefits. The Food Bank currently pays up to 100% of medical, dental and vision insurance premiums for regular employees who work 20 or more hours per week, and 60% or more for their dependents. Employees can choose between an HSA, HMO, or PPO medical plan with varying costs associated with each plan. Additional benefits include 100% Food Bank paid employee Life, AD&D, STD and LTD insurance, a "pre-tax" Flexible Benefit Plan, ten paid holidays and Flexible Time Off (FTO) starting at 20 days per year. We also offer a 403(b) Retirement Plan with a "5% of your pay" Food Bank contribution after one year of employment.

Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant is primarily responsible for providing high-level professional support to the Director of Development and Marketing. Responsibilities include various administrative duties, scheduling, travel arrangements, correspondence on behalf of the Director, special projects, direct donor relations, budget management and analysis, development and preparation of presentations, revenue report preparation, maintaining executive expense reports, research and database support, and managing other development and communication related projects as needed.
Inventory Control Coordinator
Work as team member to support all Inventory functions and documentation for Second Harvest Food Bank in a Santa Clara facility and as needed for San Mateo County. Ensure timely and accurate entry of all inventory documentation and transactions. Special projects assigned by Sr. Inventory Control Manager or Director of Food Resources.
