OPPORTUNITIES:

Help distribute food at a Brown Bag site

One day a week at many locations throughout San Mateo County, low-income seniors receive groceries. Help is needed to unload, set up and distribute food. Times are generally from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Operation Brown Bag Renewals

Volunteers are needed for on-site eligibility renewals for low-income seniors. You may choose one shift or several. This is a great chance to gather a couple of friends together and volunteer as a team. Skills required: ability to work with people, friendly personality, and written accuracy. Transportation from the San Carlos Food Bank is provided or you may meet us at the site. Bi-lingual volunteers are always welcome.
